Brent Billock's Tumblr

I'm Brent. I do Internet marketing and run a stock picking community website. My job and heart are still in Chicago, but I'm telecommuting from Cincinnati. I do a little longform blogging at billock.net and I tweet as @BrentBillock.
I really like motorcycles, guitars, and good design.

Behold, my friends, the elusive and magnificent Anchor Christmas Ale. Brewed in limited quantities and shipped only from November to January, it is often very difficult to find.
They change the recipe every year, but it’s always a dark brown, nearly black ale, much like a porter in its color and head. You’ll smell dark fruits, spice and nut aromas, but unlike many porters and winter ales, the malt doesn’t linger around cloying after you swallow.
If it’s so hard to get, why am I showing you a picture of an entire case? Because I have the best wife evar. She called over a week ago to order it from the local wine shop.
